Chain Conveyor for Waste Paper Handling in Pulp Mill

Moving waste paper from the bale breaker to the pulper is one of the most demanding steps in any stock preparation line. The BFW series chain conveyor is designed to handle this task with minimal fiber loss and maximum uptime. Over the years, Leizhan has supplied this equipment to mills across Asia, Africa, and Latin America, where it has proven itself under a wide range of raw material conditions.
The conveyor works seamlessly with Leizhan’s SBJ bale breaker and ZG drum pulper, forming the first critical link in a complete waste paper recycling system. Whether you are running old corrugated containers, old newspapers, or mixed office waste, the BFW series keeps the feed steady and the line moving.
Features of Chain Conveyor for Waste Paper Handling
- The trough plate is punch-formed from high-strength steel, giving it excellent rigidity and resistance to impact from baled material drops.
- Chain boards use a fully enclosed design to stop loose fibers and small scraps from falling through during transport.
- Two rows of idler traction chains run on hollow roller shafts; grease can be injected through the pin roll directly into the shaft sleeve and wear-resistant zinc-copper bushing for easy maintenance.
- A long connecting shaft ties the two chain rows together, keeping them aligned and preventing lateral deviation even under uneven loads.
5.Chain wheels are cast steel, offering better wear resistance and a longer replacement cycle compared to standard sprockets.
